What is My Supplementals?

Pick your schools, answer the same major/program questions the Common App would ask you, and get every supplemental essay prompt you'll actually have to write — viewable on the site or exported as organized Google Docs, so you can plan before you ever touch your application.

Is it free?

Yes. Completely.

Where does the essay data come from?

Straight from each school's Common App application for the current cycle, refreshed every year when schools release their new prompts. We mirror the prompts, word limits, and conditional logic exactly as they appear on the real application.

Why do some schools ask me questions first?

Many schools only show certain essays to certain applicants — a nursing essay for nursing applicants, an honors essay if you opt into the honors college. We ask the same questions the Common App would, so your essay list matches what you'd really see.

How is the "essays saved" number calculated?

Many prompts across schools ask for the same kind of essay — why-this-college, community, extracurricular — and one strong draft can be adapted for all of them. We simulate thousands of realistic school lists against our full dataset and count how many distinct essays you'd actually need to write versus the total number of prompts.

Something looks wrong or missing for my school?

Tell us! We verify every school against the real application, but schools change their forms mid-cycle and we want to hear about anything that looks off — we usually fix reports within a day.
